With over 23 years of experience in the senior care field, I bring a deep commitment to empowering care partners through education, empathy, and evidence-based practices. I hold a Master’s degree in Gerontology and am a Certified Dementia Practitioner, as well as an Advanced Consultant, Trainer, and Consultant in Teepa Snow’s Positive Approach to Care®. I’ve had the privilege of training directly under the world-renowned Teepa Snow, which has profoundly shaped my approach to dementia care.
My teaching experience includes work with the University of Toronto and several colleges in and around the Greater Toronto Area. Over the years, I’ve had the honor of teaching hundreds of Personal Support Workers, Social Workers, and Recreation Therapists—equipping them with practical skills and compassionate approaches to dementia care.
This passion for teaching is deeply personal. My own grandmother lives with Alzheimer’s disease, and I know what it’s like to witness a loved one face this journey. That experience fuels my desire to bring hope and help to care partners. I believe that with the right skills and support, caregiving can be not only manageable but deeply meaningful.
My mission is simple: to transform the caregiving experience through compassion, connection, and practical tools that truly make a difference.
